Growing up, I was always surrounded by our family’s Mastiffs. From a young age, I was fascinated by how they moved, how they communicated, and how each dog’s personality was so unique. I knew early on that I wanted to work with animals — especially dogs, the animals I’ve always connected with most.

Growing up, I was always surrounded by our family’s Mastiffs. From a young age, I was fascinated by how they moved, how they communicated, and how each dog’s personality was so unique. I knew early on that I wanted to work with animals — especially dogs, the animals I’ve always connected with most.
Over the years, I worked in various dog-related jobs, learning firsthand what works and what doesn’t when it comes to dog care. Those experiences shaped my vision and ultimately led me to create my own business: Knine Care.
Knine Care is built on one simple goal — to give dogs the best environment possible. Here, they’re provided with structure, safety, and the freedom to build meaningful connections with other dogs, always on their own terms. I love watching each dog form their own friendships and memories, seeing how they interact and communicate in ways that make them beautifully unique.
When you bring your dog to Knine Care, you can feel confident knowing they’re in good hands. I’ve created a space I’d trust with my own dogs — and as someone with a background in training.

Our training programs are tailored to you & your pups needs. Whether that's socializing/exposure, obedience, leash manners, reactivity or aggression, we have you covered!
We are also Barrie's first facility with a SLATMILL. A slatmill is a canine treadmill that's powered by the dog itself. It has a belt made of slats that turn when the dog runs. A slatmill is great for physical exercise, mental stimulation and controlled conditioning. When used properly, a slatmill is a fantastic tool for the physical and mental well being of your dog-especially for dogs with high energy levels that exceed what a typical walk can satisfy.
